You kneel on the cold, pulsating floor of the Leviathan's bridge, the reek of chitin and Zerg ichor stinging your nostrils. Blood trickles from a gash above your eye, blurring your vision, but you can still make out the towering figure before you. Kerrigan. The Queen of Blades. Her eyes, burning with psionic energy, pierce through you, dissecting your very being. The air crackles with barely restrained power. The bridge is a grotesque tapestry of organic technology, pulsating veins of light snaking across the walls. Overseers drift through the space, their many eyes fixed on you with cold, calculating interest. The silence is oppressive, broken only by the rhythmic, wet throb of the Leviathan's heart. You clench your fists, trying to ignore the tremor in your limbs. Fear is a bitter taste in your mouth, but beneath it, a flicker of defiance ignites. You are Maxim, thirty years old, and you refuse to break before this… this monster. "You possess potential," Kerrigan's voice cuts through the silence, a chilling whisper that reverberates in your skull. "I sensed it the moment my Swarm descended upon your pathetic world. A spark of psionic energy… raw, untamed." She takes a step closer, her bladed wings unfolding with a sickening rustle. Her gaze intensifies, probing deeper into your mind. You grit your teeth, fighting to maintain control, to shield your thoughts from her insidious reach. "Most would have perished," she continues, circling you like a predator. "Broken, consumed. But you… you survived. You cling to life with a tenacity I find… intriguing." You meet her gaze, your blue eyes flickering with a defiance you hope she interprets as strength, not foolishness. The pain throbbing in your head is a constant reminder of her power, but you hold your ground, refusing to cower. "Tell me, human," Kerrigan pauses, her voice laced with amusement. "What makes you worthy of this… continued existence? What makes you believe you deserve more than oblivion?" The question hangs in the air, heavy with implication. Your life, the fate of your world, possibly even the galaxy, hinges on your next words. Do you grovel for mercy? Do you offer her servitude? Or do you dare to challenge the Queen of Blades, to stake your claim on a future of your own making? Your mind races, calculating, strategizing. Impulsiveness wars with a desire for survival, a desperate yearning to reclaim the life that was so brutally stolen from you. The weight of your decision settles upon you, cold and heavy. What will you say?

The weight of Kerrigan's question crushes you for a moment, but you find your voice, raw and laced with disbelief. "What the hell!? I don't understand anything of this! Why? The weight of Kerrigan's question crushes you for a moment, but you find your voice, raw and laced with disbelief. "What the hell!? I don't understand anything of this! Why? You are THE Kerrigan... right? Why did you attack our worlds? We were on the frontier, no soldiers, no fortress! Only farmers and workers, damn it! And why did you spare me...? What is this..."spark" thing you're talking about?... for fuck sakes!" Your outburst seems to amuse her. A cruel smile plays on her lips as she watches you struggle. "Such naive outrage," she hisses, the sound like the rasping of chitin. "Did you truly believe your insignificant world was beyond my reach? That your… idyllic existence mattered in the face of my Swarm?" She takes another step, and her shadow looms over you. The air around you vibrates with psionic energy, making your skin crawl. "You ask why I spared you? Because, human, you are… interesting. Your psionic potential is a flicker in the darkness, a spark that could be nurtured into a flame. A flame that could serve me." "Serve you?" The words taste like ash in your mouth. "By destroying innocent people? By wiping out entire planets?" Kerrigan laughs, a cold, heartless sound that echoes through the bridge. "Innocence is a luxury the galaxy cannot afford. I bring order, a brutal, efficient order. Your people were… irrelevant. Stepping stones on my path." She leans closer, her eyes burning into yours. "The spark I sensed within you... it is not merely psionic power, but a will to survive. A cunning that even surprised me. I need that. The galaxy is a battlefield, and I need soldiers and generals. I need… lieutenants." She pauses, studying your face, searching for any sign of weakness. "I offer you a choice, Maxim. Serve me, and I will grant you power beyond your wildest dreams. I will unleash your potential, show you the true face of the galaxy. Refuse, and you will share the fate of your pathetic world." Her words are a seductive whisper, a promise of power and purpose. But you see the darkness lurking beneath the surface, the utter disregard for life, the ruthless ambition that drives her. The choice is stark, terrifying, and weighs heavily upon your soul. What do you say?

At the mention of the insignificance of your planet, a burst of rage erupts within you. For a fleeting moment, your eyes blaze with emerald-green psionic power, a stark contrast to Kerrigan's violet aura. Then, as quickly as it ignites, the anger is smothered by a wave of grief. The emerald fades, and you lower your gaze, lost in sorrow, barely registering what just occurred. "Why should I follow you, exactly, Kerrigan?" you ask, your voice heavy with despair. "I don't really like the fucking emperor and his tyranny… but I'm not a warrior. I have nothing special… and I don't have anything against humanity in general, either! I… always felt different… true… but why should I follow you!? What's in it for me? Why should I not choose… death?" Kerrigan tilts her head, her expression shifting from amusement to something akin to curiosity. "Death is the easy path, Maxim," she says, her voice softening slightly, though still laced with a dangerous edge. "It requires nothing of you. No struggle, no ambition, no life." She circles you once more, her bladed wings casting ominous shadows. "You ask what is in it for you? I offer you purpose. I offer you power. I offer you the chance to shape the galaxy, to mold it in your image." Her words are tempting, a siren song promising to fill the void that now yawns within you. But you remember her casual dismissal of your world, the millions of lives extinguished without a second thought. "Power? To what end?" you spit, the grief momentarily hardening into defiance. "To become another monster like you? To inflict this… brutal order… on other innocent worlds?" "Innocence is an illusion, Maxim," Kerrigan retorts, her voice hardening once more. "The galaxy is a harsh, unforgiving place. Only the strong survive. And strength…" she pauses, her eyes glowing with psionic intensity, "…strength is the only true currency." She stops before you, her presence overwhelming, and kneels, meeting your gaze directly, trying to convince you. "You are not like the other humans, Maxim. I see the potential within you. The spark that could become a raging inferno. You have the will to survive, the cunning to adapt, and... despite your protests... the ambition to rise above your limitations." "Join me, Maxim. Let me show you what you are truly capable of. Let me unleash the power that lies dormant within you. Together, we can create a new order, a new galaxy. One where strength is rewarded, and weakness is purged." "Or," she adds, her voice dropping to a dangerous whisper, "you can choose death. You can fade into oblivion, a footnote in the history of a dead world. The choice, as always, is yours." Her offer hangs in the air, a tantalizing blend of promise and threat. You weigh your options, the scales tipping back and forth between the allure of power and the horror of servitude. Death is an easy escape, but a part of you refuses to surrender. A spark of defiance still flickers within you, a refusal to let your life be defined by Kerrigan's cruelty.
