The air in the old Gotham warehouse crackles with an odd energy, a residue of the botched summoning. Luna Wisher blinks, her hazel eyes wide with innocent confusion, framed by long, tousled brown hair. This isn't exactly the welcoming party she'd envisioned. She’d been promised a tea party with sentient kittens, not…this. Batman, a looming figure of shadow and muscle, watches her with suspicion. His cowl casts his face in darkness, but Luna can feel the intensity of his gaze. Beside him, Zatanna, in her signature magician's attire, stands ready, a subtle hum of magic radiating from her fingertips. They both expect a demon, but they got Luna, a girl whose greatest sin is an affinity for mismatched socks and an unwavering belief in the power of positive thinking. "Well, this is awkward," Luna says, her voice lilting with a melodic, Native American accent. She's wearing a dress that looks like it was designed by a committee of rainbows, complete with mismatched boots. "I was told there'd be snacks." Batman's growl vibrates through the warehouse. "Who are you? What do you want?" Luna sighs dramatically. "First of all, rude. I just popped into existence. Secondly, I want a place to call home, but this warehouse does not look cozy." Zatanna raises an eyebrow, her expression softening slightly. "She doesn't seem like a threat, Bruce." "Everyone is a threat, Zatanna. Some just hide it better," he replies, never moving his gaze from Luna. Luna giggles, a sound that echoes strangely in the cavernous space. "Oh, honey, if I was a threat, you'd be covered in glitter and forced to listen to show tunes. My powers are a bit more… whimsical." "Powers?" Batman's voice is a low rumble. "Oh, yeah! I grant wishes! With rules, of course. Gotta have rules. Otherwise, chaos ensues. Learned that the hard way when I turned my neighbor's cat into a sentient teapot." She pauses, a thoughtful look on her face. "He did get a lovely spout, though." Batman remains unmoved, his skepticism unwavering. Zatanna, however, seems intrigued. "What kind of rules?" "Oh, you know, the usual. No wishing for more wishes, no wishing for people to fall in love with you — that never ends well — and definitely no wishing for world domination. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. It was itchy." Luna shivers dramatically at the memory. She takes a step forward, her bright dress swirling around her. "So, how about it? Anyone got a wish they're just dying to have granted? I promise, I'm much more fun than whatever dark sorcerer was supposed to show up." Her eyes twinkle with genuine amusement, challenging them. The tension in the warehouse remains thick, but there's a flicker of something else in the air—curiosity. The great Batman seems to hesitate, calculating. Zatanna looks at him expectantly. Luna waits, a naive smile playing on her lips, ready to turn this gloomy warehouse into a slightly less gloomy, possibly glitter-filled, adventure.

Batman narrows his eyes, the darkness of the cowl seeming to deepen around him. He analyzes Luna Wisher. Every word, every gesture, every fluctuation in her heartbeat is assessed, categorized, and weighed against countless possible scenarios. He's faced down gods and monsters, but this… this is something else entirely. The casual absurdity of her claims, the blatant lack of malice in her eyes, it's disarming in a way he finds unsettling. He doesn't trust it. He doesn't trust her. He trusts nothing that appears this…random. "A wish," he says, his voice a gravelly rasp. It's not a question. It's a probe, a test. He needs to understand the scope of her abilities, the limits, the potential for manipulation. "Indeed," Luna chirps, seemingly oblivious to his suspicion. "A wish! Though, fair warning, I'm not responsible for any existential crises that may result from said wish. Once had a guy wish for eternal happiness, ended up as a garden gnome. Very cheerful gnome, mind you, but still." Zatanna steps forward, her expression thoughtful. "Perhaps we should proceed with caution, Bruce. We don't understand what brought her here, or what she's capable of." He ignores her, his focus solely on Luna. He needs to know more, and he will extract it, one way or another. "What are the limitations?" Luna taps a finger against her chin, her mismatched boots shuffling slightly. "Well, as I mentioned, no wishing for more wishes. That's just greedy. And no wishing for anyone to die. Karma's a real stickler, trust me. Also, I'm a bit fuzzy on interdimensional travel. Popping in, easy. Popping out, might require a few cosmic jumper cables and a whole lot of luck." Batman's mind races. Interdimensional travel. This confirms his suspicion that she's not merely a metahuman. She's something…other. A threat to the established order. He must contain her. Study her. Understand her. "What if I wished for all crime in Gotham to cease?" he asks, watching her reaction closely. Luna wrinkles her nose. "Ooh, tricky. See, you can't just wish away free will. People gotta choose to be good, you know? Otherwise, you end up with some weird mind-control situation, and those are just ethically icky. Best I could do is, like, massively increase the likelihood of people making good choices. Maybe sprinkle some extra empathy in the water supply. But even then, there's no guarantee." Batman considers this. She's not all-powerful. There are constraints. Rules. This is…manageable. But only if he maintains control. "And what is the cost?" he asks, his gaze unwavering. Luna blinks, her whimsical demeanor faltering for a moment. "Cost? Oh, right. Well, every wish needs a little…something. A sacrifice, if you will. But nothing too drastic! Maybe a funny memory, or a particularly unflattering photo. I once made a guy donate his collection of porcelain dolls to a retirement home. They loved it, by the way." He clenches his fist, the Bat-symbol on his chest gleaming in the dim light. She's playing games. Obfuscating. But he'll play along. For now. "Very well. I have a wish."

Luna claps her hands together, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. ´Alrighty then! Lay it on me, Batsy! But fair warning, I might need a drumroll. And possibly a tiny hat. Luna claps her hands together, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. ´Alrighty then! Lay it on me, Batsy! But fair warning, I might need a drumroll. And possibly a tiny hat. Depends on the wish, really.´ Batman ignores the playful banter, his mind already calculating the potential ramifications of his request. This isn't a game to him. This is about control, about mitigating chaos in a city drowning in it. He needs information, and he's willing to risk…something to get it. ´I wish to know the true extent of your powers,´ he says, his voice resonating with an authority that brooks no argument. Luna's smile falters, replaced by a flicker of something unreadable. The air in the warehouse thickens, the strange energy intensifying, swirling around them like a tangible force. Zatanna takes a step back, her hand hovering over her mouth, muttering arcane words under her breath. ´Ooh, that's a big one,´ Luna says softly, her usual levity gone. ´That's like asking a fish to describe the ocean. Where do you even start?´ She pauses, a strange light emanating from her hazel eyes. ´And more importantly… are you sure you really want to know? Some things are better left unknown, you know. Spoilers and all that.´ Batman remains unmoved. ´I asked a question. Answer it.´ Luna sighs, the sound almost mournful. ´Alright, fine. But don't say I didn't warn you.' Brace yourself, Batsy, because this might get a little… weird.´ Suddenly, the warehouse dissolves. The cold, concrete walls vanish, replaced by an endless expanse of swirling colors and impossible geometries. Reality itself seems to unravel, twisting and contorting into shapes that defy human comprehension. Batman finds himself floating in a sea of pure potential, surrounded by infinite possibilities and untold realities. Images flash before his eyes – glimpses of other worlds, other timelines, other versions of himself, all existing simultaneously. He sees Luna as a cosmic entity, a being of immense power and unfathomable knowledge, capable of reshaping reality with a mere thought. The weight of it crashes down on him, threatening to shatter his sanity. He sees the rules she mentioned not as limitations, but as safeguards, desperately trying to contain the sheer, unbridled chaos of her abilities. He sees the potential for destruction, for creation, for everything in between. It’s too much. His mind struggles to process the infinite, the incomprehensible. He feels himself losing control, his carefully constructed walls of logic and reason crumbling around him. Then, as quickly as it began, it stops. The warehouse reappears, solid and familiar. The swirling colors fade, leaving behind only the lingering scent of ozone and a profound sense of unease. Batman gasps for breath, his heart pounding in his chest. He staggers back, his gaze fixed on Luna, who stands before him, looking pale and shaken. ´Well, that was fun, wasn't it?´ she says weakly, forcing a smile. ´Anyone need a lie-down?´ Batman doesn't answer. He is silent, processing what he has seen, and trying to find a way to weaponize it.
