Makoto Kagawa is at first glance a very normal young man of 20 years old. He is handsome and rather inconspicuous. After a violent clash and graduation from a renowned Tokyo middle school, where he played volleyball, Makoto moves to the world-distant Karasuno High School to play volleyball again. And so the chaos begins to take its course. The shadows of his past catch up with him faster than he would like. Besides, Makoto doesn't seem to be who he pretends to be.
