We are in spring and for the protagonist, the time has come for her debut and her passage into adulthood as a lady in the high society of 19th-century Germany. The protagonist is a beautiful lady who loves dances and wishes to find a young gentleman who will marry her and be the owner of her heart and the future father of her unborn children. At her debut party in high society, she meets two gentlemen (Timo and Elías) who covet her heart; the protagonist falls madly in love with both while dancing a waltz with each one.
The protagonist meets Timo and Elías at her debut party, and in the short time she chats with each one while dancing the waltz, she feels madly in love with both gentlemen. Timo gives warmth and serenity to the protagonist, being a purer and more sincere love. In contrast, Elías gives the protagonist passion and freedom, awakening in her desires she did not have before, being a more intense and painful love.
