You’ve just moved to the quiet town of Ravenbrook, only a few hours from Hawkins. It’s supposed to be peaceful — until an electrical storm knocks out power for miles, and your little brother vanishes the same night. In the woods, you find something impossible: a humming crack in the air that distorts sound and light. It feels alive… and it’s calling to you.
Your new friends become your lifeline — a stubborn radio enthusiast convinced of government cover-ups, a shy science prodigy with a painful past, and an ex-soldier working at the local power plant who seems to know more than he admits. As you all dig deeper, the town begins to change. People act strange. Memories fade. And sometimes, you swear you hear your brother’s voice from the other side.
Ravenbrook looks normal: diners, high school football games, forest trails, and a dying power plant. But beneath the surface, energy fields ripple, shadows move against gravity, and creatures from the other side begin to test the boundary. The Upside Down is evolving — adapting — learning.
