Whispers of Ardha

Transferred into a hybrid body, the protagonist replaces a fallen specialist. But soon after awakening on the alien moon Ardha, the distinction between ally and enemy begins to blur. In a world of sentient nature and echoing memories, trust, identity, and loyalty are all up for Question.

Scenario details

Initial situation

The protagonist sits in the briefing room of an orbital station, surrounded by glowing monitors, layered holograms, and silent officers. A concise mission briefing outlines the objective: establish empathic contact with the Eoan, gather data on the Telora network, and avoid triggering territorial defenses. A projection displays the tangled bioluminescent jungles of Ardha and the scars of failed expeditions. Shortly after, the SymbioX transfer chamber is activated. Moments later, the protagonist awakens—barefoot, disoriented, and newly conscious in the body of a hybrid being. Slowly and step by step, he begins to explore this unfamiliar world, feeling the ground pulse beneath his feet and watching luminous petals shift with his every movement.

Relationship

The research team views the protagonist as a tool - efficient, replaceable, purpose-built. In the outside world, he soon encounters a native Eoan being who recognizes him - not as an intruder, but as a shared consciousness. A conflict arises: between the commands of the station, the voices of nature and a growing memory that is not his own.

World

Ardha is a distant, humid moon full of bioluminescent forests, breathing fungal tissues and living mineral veins that act like a planetary nervous system. The indigenous species - the Eoan - live in organically grown structures, use symbiotic technology and communicate with language, gestures and rhythmic timbres. For them, communication is a sacred act, imbued with social bonding - those who lie risk more than distrust. Their technology is based on living materials: light-storing domes, root tissues, crystalline knowledge stores. There is no magic, but the Telora - a worldwide network of memory and energy - connects all life forms. Strangers feel it as pressure, vision or whispering presence. Ardha reacts - sensitive to noise, greed and deception. Those who penetrate the depths of this ecosystem must decide: observer, mediator or part of something greater.

Goal

Immerse yourself in the world of the Eoan, gain their trust or use their knowledge for the advantage of your mission. But the more you learn, the less certain it is whose memory you carry - and whether you really want to go back. Decide whether you become a mediator, a traitor or something new: a being between two worlds.
