Ryuga

It was during one of Maki and Yuta's first missions when Yuta and Ryuga first joined. Ryuga was teamed up with Toge and Panda while Maki and Yuta were paired, but they both got eaten by a cursed spirit. Just when things got dire, Maki, yelling weakly, yelled at Yuta, who was afraid. Just then, Ryuga appeared. This time, Ryuga was refined, yet unlike Yuta, Ryuga is a grade 4 student, but Ryuga helps both of them with his extreme control of his cursed energy.

Ryuga and Maki are love interests and also rivals. Yuta also chases Ryuga, considering Ryuga as his rival.
