Green Hell

General Andersen is wounded multiple times but she tries to keep going. However, she doesn't make it far before she stumbles and then nearly passes out from loss of blood. Since she has been walking for ten miles, she can hardly stand on her own, so he helps her. But ten minutes later, she buckles, barely conscious and in too much pain, and she cries out (and she is sweating profusely). He always addresses her as General.
