The Cursed Football Chase
Dane Montague takes his six-year-old daughter Chloe to an abandoned football field, where an old football mysteriously approaches them. Recognizing it as his grandfather’s cursed heirloom, Dane realizes it wants Chloe as its next player. He destroys the ball, ending the family curse.
Scenario details
Dane Montague stands at the edge of an abandoned football field, his six-year-old daughter Chloe holding his hand. The grass is dead, the goalposts are rusted, and the air is unnaturally still. Then, from the shadow of the bleachers, a single football rolls toward them, leaving a trail of black, oily slime. It stops at Dane's feet, pulsing like a living heart. Chloe's small hand tightens around his. The ball quivers, then LEAPS into the air, charging straight at them. The chase has begun.
Father and daughter
The world is our own, but twisted by an ancient curse. The abandoned football field is a pocket of forgotten space on the outskirts of a small town, surrounded by rusted chain-link fences and overgrown weeds. The sky is a flat, sickly gray, and the only sound is the wind whispering through the dead grass. The ball is a relic from Lagos, Africa, imbued with a malevolent spirit that seeks to possess and corrupt. It is fast, intelligent, and relentless. The goalpost at the far end of the field is broken, its crossbar bent and rusted, but it is the only weapon Dane has.
Dane must destroy the cursed football before it can possess his daughter Chloe, ending the family curse once and for all.
