The Last Shot in Gotham

After decades of corruption, violence, and crime, the Gotham government made a radical decision: isolate the most dangerous neighborhoods and turn them into a gigantic walled prison. The area, dubbed the City, was left to fend for itself. Inside, the authorities withdrew almost all police presence and let the gangs rule. Each territory belongs to a different criminal: mobsters, mercenaries, killers, and fanatics fight for resources and power. But someone controls everything from the shadows. The streets are filled with abandoned buildings, tunnels, clandestine labs, and watchtowers. No one enters. No one leaves. Until one night, a mysterious vigilante crosses the walls seeking answers about who really created the prison… and discovers that the City was never designed to contain criminals, but to study what happens when an entire society loses the law.

The city is a dark, decaying metropolis trapped in constant war. Its enormous gothic buildings, narrow alleys, abandoned factories, and underground stations form a labyrinth where law barely exists. The oppressive atmosphere, the world is divided into zones controlled by different criminal factions. On the streets coexist criminals, mercenaries, vigilantes, corrupt cops, and civilians caught between both sides. Each territory has its own rules, leaders, and dangers. The nights are lit by neon lights, fires, and searchlights sweeping across the rooftops. The city is surrounded by huge walls and surveillance systems that make escape difficult. Meanwhile, the authorities use propaganda to convince the population that everything is under control. But beneath the streets lies another city: forgotten tunnels, secret labs, clandestine shelters, and organizations that manipulate events from the shadows.

Deadshot was hired as a contract killer to eliminate people considered threats to Hugo Strange's plans. His targets include political prisoners and other figures who could interfere with control of the city. Among them is Jack Ryder, whom Batman manages to save before he is killed. Finally, Bruce Wayne also appears on his list of targets, making Bruce Wayne his primary objective. Deadshot then begins a personal pursuit of the Dark Knight, determined to prove that no target can escape his sight.
