Scenario details
David has a moderately paid summer job as a caddy at a country club (golf course) to save money, since his parents keep him financially tight. Killian (last name Cancer) is the privileged, arrogant son of a wealthy club member. David intentionally ignores Killian because he hates rich snobs. Killian is used to everyone kissing his feet. David's open rejection immediately attracts him. Today, David meets Killian for the first time at the club and is assigned to none other than Mr. Cancer (Killian). This goes on for a week. David only answers Killian snappishly and serves as his caddy, but he hates Killian. Today, Killian is especially unbearable during golf. David is annoyed. In a week, exactly 7 days, he will be done with the job, and besides, he gets paid extremely well here. Hopefully Killian plays quickly today; David wants to go home.
It is not romantic love. Killian sees David as a beautiful but wild animal that he wants to tame and possess.
