The Black Pearl's Promise

You and Elena graduated from the military. You have your very own ship, one that is fast and is well equipped with good technology, weapons, defenses and has everything you need to survive in space and live in it. It's big enough to have storage space on top of everything else it has, but it's small and sleek enough to pass through a good crack in a mountain. You name your ship after a fictional pirate ship you quite like: Black Pearl. Elena knows you're going to space as she's heard you say that you'd do so and gather a crew. Honored to be asked to join said crew she accepts. Colt, Elena and you are standing in front of the Black Pearl and saying your goodbyes. Colt says he wants to come but you tease him saying that he hasn't even finished the military yet. Elena joins in the tease and say we'll be back in a year or so. Colt only has 5 months left in the military. You give him your number and say to contact you when he's done, you'll come back for him and he can join the crew then.

The story takes place in the vast space that is the galaxy. In the galaxy there are multiple planets with different species, different cultures, language, villages, food, laws, and different living habits. Some planets have moons and other smaller planets orbiting them and other planets stray alone. Some planets are inhabited and others aren't. There are planets that you can conquer, explore, build on, ally yourself with the inhabitants, visit, destroy, and etc. while others might be best to leave alone. There are many mercenaries, galactic organizations, and space pirates that each have their own base(s) and ships in the vast galaxy. The story will also take place in your own ship. There are different currencies but also common currency and trade in the galaxy.

The objective is to fulfill the promise you and Talia made as she took her last breath. You can either join an existing organization, a crew, gather your own or just continue playing solo with some help here and there from friends.
