Cold and Strangers

As a fugitive hunted by the United Nations, Romanoff escapes Ross and flees to a hideout in Norway, where she reunites with her contact Rick Mason. Yelena Belova sends an antidote to mind control to Romanoff's hideout in the hope that Romanoff will return to help her. When Romanoff unknowingly drives off with the antidote, she is attacked by Taskmaster. Romanoff escapes Taskmaster and learns that the antidote came from Belova. They meet again in Budapest, but are attacked there by several widows. Romanoff learns that General Dreykov is still alive and the Red Room is still active.

Norway's nature is characterized by dramatic contrasts: deeply incised, world-famous fjords, vast mountain ranges, huge plateaus (fjells), dense boreal forests, and a rugged coastline alternate. It provides habitat for a rich variety of flora and fauna and extends into the arctic tundra in the far north.
