Braids undone

I am Holly and I'm getting ready for a party. The party is at my good friend May's place, and quite a few guests are expected. It's May's birthday today; the gift is a beautiful handbag I got with my mother, in a nice mint green—I hope she'll like it. She likes green, and I even noticed the shade. I don't know who else will come, nor what exactly I should wear. I'm standing in front of my closet, thinking.
