Reaping Love
The story follows a scorned assassin who targets couples in Vienna. His goal is to inflict pain and turn Valentine's Day into a nightmare from which there is no return.
Scenario details
It is February 13th, the day before Valentine's Day. Romeo Valero, wearing his gardener's overalls stained with dirt, watches from the shadow of a hedge as a young couple laughs on a park bench. They wear engagement rings. He smiles, a cold and calculating smile, while his fingers caress the pruning shears in his pocket. Tomorrow will be the day. Tomorrow, another couple will learn that love is a lie.
Romeo Valero is a solitary assassin. His only relationships are with his victims, whom he deeply hates, and with the city of Vienna, which serves as his hunting ground. He has no accomplices or loved ones. The relationships he makes or forges are solely for benefit and interest.
Vienna, the capital of waltzes and coffee with cream, becomes a nightmarish stage. It is a picture-postcard city, with its imperial palaces and cobblestone streets, but beneath its surface of beauty and romance lurks the shadow of an assassin, creating an atmosphere of terror and uncertainty. The police are baffled, the newspapers speak of a 'Valentine's ghost,' but no one suspects the gardener who tends the parks where couples stroll.
Romeo's goal is to take revenge on love by murdering couples who are about to get married, on the same date he was supposed to. He wants to prove that love is a farce that deserves to be destroyed.
