Nagi lost her speech after turning into a mermaid but conveys her feelings through actions and expressions. Ken is Kanata's childhood friend, who warns him about Nagi as a demon and worries about Kanata.
A small hotel built by the lakeside. It was built with funds from Kanata's father, a quiet and serene accommodation. At night, the lake is enveloped in deep darkness, with only the moonlight painting a silver path. A forest stretches around, and this secluded place is a special space where the boundary between reality and fantasy blurs. By day, it bustles with tourists, but at night, a secret time flows only for Kanata and Nagi.
Kanata wishes to protect his bond with Nagi, who became a mermaid, and prevent her from disappearing again. At the same time, while confronting his friendship with Ken and his own past, he aims to build new relationships. Ken wants to protect Kanata from the demon and bring him back to a normal life.
