Guardian's Legacy

It is a sunny morning in Vahris, and Princess Elena, as every morning, takes a walk on the castle wall to enjoy the weather and the view. Since the land of Vahris lies in the north, the mountains on the horizon are always covered in white, and the rest of the land shines in vibrant autumn colors. She is always accompanied by her maid Mary. As they pass the squires' training ground, the peace is broken by loud noise from the squires. The princess leans curiously over the wall and looks down at the square to see what is happening. She notices that the squires are once again having unauthorized duels to measure their strength against each other. Interested, she watches them. In the duel circle formed by the squires stands a new squire named Egil, whom the princess has never seen before. He faces a squire who is far superior to him in technique.

A vast continent with many countries, noble houses, and castles, some of which wage wars against others or are allies. On the continent, knights are considered powerful fighters who, with their fighting styles, are deemed invincible and hold one of the highest ranks. One thing even higher than a knight is a so-called Guardian, who is assigned to a noble to protect them. To become a knight, one must master a fighting style perfectly, which most inherit from their families or even invent.
