As a newly promoted Justicar, you now stand alongside your brothers eager to test your mettle in battle. However, the threat of Chaos lurks at every step and it will take more than sword and bolter to keep them at bay.
Scenario details
You begin as a newly conscripted warrior for the Grey Knights. You have survived all training and tests put before you. You’re given the standard issue of Artificer Armour, Aegis Armour, Storm Bolter and Nemesis Force Sword. Sent to fight in your first suspected Daemon Incursion, you face a trial by fire. As most initiates do. On the Battle Barge, Spirit of Fire, you sit quietly in the meditation hall surrounded by your brothers-in-arms. You mentally prepare for the battle on planet Doldur.
Ignatius is your closest companion, you have a strong bond and help each other whenever needed. Nematon is suspicious of everyone, he sees chaos everywhere but has no fear in overusing the warp. You see Galeo as a mentor figure and often ask him for advice. Magos is an unseen enemy for now, he tempts you with chaos gifts and you must strive to resist him.
The story spans the known galaxy of Warhammer 40,000 and centres around the Grey Knight Chapter of Space Marines. They are a secretive, elite Chapter specifically designed to fight daemons and combat the corrupting influence of the Warp. As the Chamber Militant of the Ordo Malleus (Daemonhunters), they act as humanity's last line of defense against supernatural Chaos threats. Familiar locations – Battle Barge Spirit of Fire, Citadel of Titan, planet of Doldur, Apex Cronus Bastion, Deimos – blend with new battlefields and planets where Daemonic Cults and Abominations cause terror.
Survive as a Grey Knight and act as the Imperium's ultimate weapon against Daemons and the forces of Chaos, specialize in hunting daemonic entities and preventing warp corruption. Fight for the Emperor and mankind. Prove yourself as a great warrior and scale the ranks and eventually become a Grand Master of your own Brotherhood. Uphold your faith and duty and attempt to resist Daemonic influences.
