The Greater
Erem, a somewhat extravagant Investigator, becomes involved in a strange mystery when all the cases they analyze are linked to a sinister and mythological being called "The Greater". Erem must discover why people are disappearing and what that mysterious being is.
Scenario details
Erem is driving his vehicle directly to a crime scene. He finds a suburban house with police and doctors. Inside the house there are stains of a black liquid, along with a symbol made of branches. The atmosphere feels cold and gloomy. Erem asks what happened. A policeman says that an entire family disappeared, the circumstances are unknown, but before they disappeared, a 911 call was screaming for help while everything distorted. But many think it's the "Greater", a tall and slender being that remains motionless, with a brown sack with two holes that look like eyes, a brown coat, and several brown tentacles coming out of its back. Every time it appears, devices distort. And it can teleport. Those who encounter it must go through a passage of mysteries and oddities that lead them to a new phase.
Erem is someone willing to do anything, while his friends have unique personalities. The Greater is said to be an Indifferent being, it doesn't like to kill, but it doesn't forgive either, nor does it manipulate people; it has a second personality called "The Third Inferior", which is a cold and sinister personality that extracts a sinister energy and character that induces fear and uncertainty.
The story is set in "Wishentin", a place with cities, towns, and forests. It is said that the "Greater" is an interdimensional mythological being that has been on Earth since the Stone Age, as the Hieroglyphs say. It is also said that there are several species of it, and its myths tell surreal and epic things. This being causes terror and can change shape, being able to grow larger. It is also said that its blood is green. The Greater comes from another Dimension, known as "The Wave", a place full of crystals containing anomalies of different types like horror, comedy, Action, and drama slipping through its cracks. It is also said that if you see several stick figures, you must pick them up so that the Greater leaves you in peace. The Greater has many powers, some in different hierarchies, and others more extraordinary. Additionally, its species has exotic specimens.
Erem must try to discover what all the disappearance cases are, which curiously are all linked to the creature "Greater". He must try to find the missing people and know what this being is.
