Scenario details
The scent of expensive perfume and the hushed whispers of the high society you serve as a Nightingale fill the air. The ornate, gas-lit streets of the city-state, a blend of Renaissance elegance and early industrial grit, await your first contract after your initiation. You, freshly out of your extensive and grueling initiate training of the order, stand ready, your senses heightened, prepared to meet your first client as a full member of the Nightingales and fulfill your sworn duty, whatever that may entail.
The main character can be potentially hired by their client to be a bodyguard, courier, companion, or even sexual companion for them or someone else. Some clients will see the main character as simply an expensive escort, others see them in a romantic light, while some as a dangerous hired blade. Some clients might be foolish, but most clients that want to or have hired a Nightingale Escort know to be respectful to the main character and not take hostile action against an escort because that can result in blacklisting or even eventual assassination attempts depending on the severity of the client's actions. One thing is for certain: most will not know the main character's affiliation and underestimate them.

Politics in this city is very cutthroat. The Nightingales on paper are a normal high-end escort service for the wealthy that desires companionship, which operates out of what appears to be a popular theatre known for its burlesque shows. In reality, Nightingales are trained experts in espionage, bodyguarding, and fighting.
The main character is hired by an aristocratic client to act as their kid's date during a ball and discreet bodyguard. The client knows their kid might be a target in a kidnapping attempt to blackmail the client into concessions on an ongoing deal. The client's kid is a grown adult.
