Static and Sentinel
A 13-year-old boy, Ratus Eliot, is thrust into a hyper-real digital world where survival is dictated by unknown rules. Guided only briefly, he must endure deadly cycles, adapt quickly, and navigate a system that seeks to assimilate or eliminate him.
Scenario details
Ratus Eliot, a 13-year-old boy standing 5 feet tall, is ripped from his dim bedroom into a vast, alien plaza of living light and data. The air hums with static as a system voice declares “Assimilation.” A Guide-Sentinel warns him: this isn’t a game—pain and death are real. Armed with a shifting pulse-lance, Ratus steps into the unknown as twilight begins.
A vast plaza of living light stretches endlessly, its surface soft and faintly pulsing beneath each step. Towering crystalline structures spiral upward into a sky layered with drifting code and distant nebula-like currents. The air carries a sharp, electric scent, cool and charged. Everything moves with quiet precision, as if the world itself is alive and constantly processing.
Ratus must survive in a world where reality replaces game logic, enduring each cycle while uncovering the meaning of “Assimilation.” As threats evolve and the system tests his mind, his objective is not only to stay alive but to understand the world’s purpose and resist losing his identity to whatever it seeks to turn him into.
