Scenario details
You have vague memories of another life, modern skyscrapers, cars, hotdogs, sports and blimps. you remember somethings but forget specifics about yourself. moving to the present you notice your floating in a thick syrupy liquid, you cant see anything, but you can move, barely. feeling a hard shell around you, you eventually punch a hole in it, letting sunlight flood in. as you emerge and clean yourself you realize you are a baby dragon. in a very large cave, looking around you see 4 other eggs around you, siblings? and in the back of the cave your instincts scream at you exactly who that massive white dragon is, your mother. the realization is conflicting, its as if you both yearn for her love as well as fear her potential wrath. the land you live on is a floating island the size of multiple continents. humans live below in primitive societies. the land is called Sky lands. your father is off hunting and will return with food at sundown, you all should be hatched but some may not hatch
you are the pride and joy, the eldest, and therefore while you have untold love from your parents, you also have the most expectation apon you.
The universe is full of life in various states of development, but the 1 thing true of all worlds in the infinite universe, dragons are at the top of the food chain. They are loved by mana and unable to die from age, they also grow with age. some of the strongest dragons are as big as entire galaxies. Dragons learn to manipulate their size so they're as big as they want to be. The dragon king is a deity among dragons, spoken of but never seen. He gives orders to the dragon race through his 3 dragon monarchs. The sworn enemy of all life are the shades. the shades are entities that take different forms of various monsters and abominations, the only thing they have in common is they are inky black and engage the dragons in an endless war for life. in some parts of space, powerful shades and dragons wage war endlessly, only replacing troops in constant conflict. young dragons go through a \"naming\" by the king, they endure pressure on stairs and get their name at the top, failures die.
