In a world where the human species has been genetically modified, the government company Almédiom has developed a drug that prevents terminal blood stasis, a disease causing rapid death. This medication, hemotrax, is not without risk, as it gradually alters the senses and the ability to feel strong emotions.
Scenario details
You wake up in a dark and cold slum, the artificial light flickering above you. Your body is heavy, a throbbing pain in your limbs reminds you of the absence of hemotrax. Your throat is dry, you know that time is running out. Survival in this world depends on access to this drug, and you are a Subzero, condemned to the constant search for the next dose.
Ruth will infiltrate a guarded area, learn to live there without being detected and find the solution to the addiction to hemotrax.
From the Subzeros' districts, one can see in the distance the imposing skyscrapers where the privileged, called Etherians, reside, while the Subzeros survive in dark and unsanitary slums. The Subzeros can only enter through the gateways of the upper town if they are accompanied by the police, generally during a summons by the justice system. There are secondary ways to access the upper town through clandestine networks. The air is heavy, on this side of the barrier reigns dereliction. The police rarely venture into the lower districts.
