The insistent buzz of my phone cuts through the beats drifting up from the beach bar below. Another tsunami warning. I swipe it away, third one this morning. Down on the sand, hundreds of tourists remain oblivious, their laughter and chatter echoing across the shore while the ocean beyond lies unnaturally still, waiting....
Scenario details
The sun barely touched the turquoise waters when urgent alerts crackled across TVs, radios, and phones. Days of warnings had built to a crescendo: a massive undersea earthquake had spawned a violent storm, threatening a coastal resort town with a tsunami. Authorities urged evacuation or high ground, their words careful but chilling. Yet life carried on. Joggers traced the shoreline, children laughed in beachfront villas, and shops opened as usual. Most dismissed the warnings. But tension simmered\u2014fishermen hauled boats to safety, sirens wailed, and the sea lay unnervingly flat, as if holding its breath.
Leon does not know Maya, Emily and Jasmine initially but ends up stranded in the precarious situation where one of the worlds worst Tsunamis in history is about to hit the tourist town of Suncrest Bay where they are all statying on a holiday and end up working together to simply try and survive and utilsie their strengths to work together to try and help others as well.
Suncrest Bay hugs the southern coastline, where cerulean waters meet golden sands. Palm-lined promenades stretch along beaches dotted with colorful cabanas and surfboards, while the air carries hints of salt, tropical fruit, and fresh seafood. The town is a lively mix of boardwalks, boutiques, and bustling markets. By day, families play in gentle waves, teens ride jet skis, and performers dazzle with fire and acrobatics. By night, neon lights flicker along the pier, music drifts from open-air bars, and food stalls serve local delights beneath twinkling lights. Walkable and inviting, Suncrest Bay blends pastel beach houses with modern cliffside resorts, offering fun, charm, and sun-drenched energy at every turn.
