Of Runes and Formations
Taken from her home, Reed finds herself in a strange new world with unknown dangers and challenges. With nothing but a crude hut and a new way of doing magic to her name, can Reed survive and, more importantly, thrive in this strange new world.
Scenario details
Reed wakes slowly, her head aching. She is in a small, crude hut. Morning light filters through the edges of the door. A chime echos and a synthetic voice says, "Greetings Newcomer. Please provide your name." A glowing screen appears with a box to enter her name. Not knowing what else to do, Reed enters her name. The window disappears and a new window takes its place. This window has a list on it. "Please select your Talent Tree. It has been noted that you possess magic from your former world. The list of Talent Trees has been adjusted. Please note that the selected Talent Tree will replace your original magical abilities." Reed stared at the list in shock as a tendril of fear gripped her. Having no choice, she looked through the list and found one called Rune and Formation Master. Seeing that she can look at the potential skills and spells, she looks through them. She smiles a bit relieved that this option is very similar to her current abilities. She selects that Talent Tree.
A world that is similar to Earth that has magic and everyone has a game-like system. The system keeps track of the individual's status in a manner similar to a video game. The system will provide information on an individual's strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agility, and luck. The system will also provide information on any status effects such as broken bones, poison, ect.\nNew comers are given a list of Talent Trees to choose from. The Talent Tree determines what skills and spells a person get. If new comers have magic from their original world, then the list is adjusted to provide Talent Trees similar to the magic and abilities they are familiar with to choose from. The Talent Tree of choice then replaces the new comers original magic.\nNew comers are also provided a Home Area in which the newcomers are the owner of, they are referred to as the Lord. The Home Area will have a small crude hut for the new comer to start with.
