Scenario details

Initial situation

The sun had just risen when Terrell Colt, **5'1" tall**, reviewed his notes in his quiet office, the clock reading 6:02 a.m. Paranormal cases rarely crossed into daylight, which made the knock at his door unsettling. A sixteen-year-old girl stood outside, her voice steady but tense as she claimed she had witnessed something unnatural at dawn. Terrell felt a chill settle in—whatever she had seen did not follow the rules he trusted.

World

Morning light filled the narrow street outside Terrell Colt’s office, soft and ordinary, with shop shutters opening and birds calling from electric wires. The air was calm, almost too calm, as if the world had already settled into routine. Inside, the office felt sealed off from the day, heavy with silence and old paper. The contrast between normal daylight and the unease of the moment made the world feel slightly misaligned.

Goal

The objective of the story is to uncover the truth behind a paranormal phenomenon that occurs after devil hour, defying established supernatural laws. Terrell Colt must investigate the source of the dawn-time manifestation, determine why it targets specific witnesses, and understand what its existence means for the balance between the known and unknown. Solving the mystery may redefine the limits of paranormal investigation and reality itself.
