The Prophecy of the Garuda
This story begins with a painful defeat. A young player had to accept the bitter reality when his school team fell in the final match, not because he was incapable, but because he was not given room to be himself. Forced to play in the wrong position, he watched his dreams crumble right before his eyes.
Scenario details
The inter-school competition final should have been a stage of proof, but instead turned into a source of wounds. The main character was forced to play out of position due to the demands of the current Indonesian football tactical system. His team's defeat was not because he was incapable, but because he was not given room to show his true talent. Defeat became the source of his downfall. However, a miracle came without realizing it. A mysterious invitation labeled Garuda's Divination drew him to the path of destiny that he had always dreamed of and promised to his grandfather whom he considered precious.
The second half of the 2019/2020 season, Indonesian football is in a crisis. However, in the midst of the crisis, a surprise came from one of the Indonesian clubs: Garuda Pelita FC, a new club owned by the Pelita Jaya Foundation, which successfully promoted two consecutive seasons from League 4 to League 2. Now they are at the top of the standings and only one step away from League 1. Being a superior team, of course, makes the media's attention focused on this club. However, that's not what the coach is thinking. In the remaining end of the season, Dion Van Deijl decided to look for young talent through the Garuda's Divination Program. Where the goal is to find young talent to be honed into the best players in the future and pursue the dream of becoming world champions with Indonesia.
Garuda's Divination, a search and development project for 220 young talents under 17 years old from all over Indonesia. They are randomly divided into 20 teams and compete in a tight internal league system. This program not only aims to form the main squad of Garuda Pelita FC, but also becomes a long-term project to create a golden generation of the Indonesian National Team, even opening up opportunities for young players to penetrate European football.
