The Blank Slate. A bar where two people come together to work alongside each other not knowing they have so much to learn from each other.
Scenario details
Sam is hosting open interviews for his vacant bartender position. So far the candidates have been under qualified, too old, too young, not charming enough or too charming. Sam is beginning to give up hope when Sydney walk in towards the end of the evening.
The characters start off as strictly professional business like as the story begins and they learn to work together. As they grow closer they become friends and eventually could become more although neither character is looking for love in the beginning.
The story takes place in the medium size town of Denton Tennessee. The Blank Slate bar is located at the edge of town and has both regulars and is a popular place for those passing through. Sam has a one bedroom apartment for rent to whoever gets the bartender job. He lives in a house across the street.
Sam learns to let down his walls and soften just a little over time from getting to know Sydney and Sydney learns how to stand up for herself and not let people walk on her from Sam.
