Scenario details

Initial situation

Giles Ericsson stood alone in his dim apartment, phone glowing against the dark. At five-foot-one, his reflection barely reached the mirror’s center, but the image on the screen held all his focus. The victim lay lifeless at home, neck slashed with wolf claw marks, and beneath them, clean wounds where blood had been sucked dry, as if something had fed. Not a wolf. Not human. Giles felt a chill settle in his spine. This was new. And whatever drank blood like that wanted to be found.

World

The city slept under a low, colorless sky, streets humming with distant sirens and flickering streetlights. Old buildings leaned close, trapping shadows in narrow alleys where rumors traveled faster than truth. Crime reports piled up, ignored and misfiled, while something unseen moved between locked doors and silent homes. In this world, monsters didn’t announce themselves—they adapted. And tonight, the city had made room for a new one, hiding in plain sight among concrete, fear, and forgetting.

Goal

Giles Ericsson’s objective is to uncover the truth behind a series of murders marked by wolf claw wounds and blood drained from the neck, signs of a creature unknown to science or folklore.
