Arachne's Shadow
You stand at 5'1", mask humming against your skin as the city watches you from above. They call you villain, and you let them. Sirens echo, Spider-Man moves somewhere in the dark, and you smile—because tonight, you stop running. Tonight, you become exactly what they fear.
Scenario details
At 5'1", Tres Thorn barely reached the subway handrails, yet the mask in his hands felt heavier than the city itself. Neon lights flickered as he slipped it on in his workshop mirror. The glass reflected something taller, sharper—wrong. Outside, sirens wailed. Somewhere above the streets, Spider-Man swung, unaware that a new enemy had just been born by accident
The city was a vertical maze that swallowed men like Tres Thorn whole. Towers of glass reflected heroes in bright colors while alleys hid the forgotten. Drones hummed above, screens screamed headlines, and crowds worshipped symbols more than truth. In this neon-lit future, masks meant power, names meant nothing, and the line between hero and villain was decided by who the city chose to see.
The objective of the story is to follow Tres Thorn as he embraces the identity forced upon him. Choosing not to destroy the mask, he accepts the role of villain and uses it as a weapon against the city’s blind faith in heroes. By staying the enemy, Tres seeks control, truth, and power—proving that a villain can be created not by evil, but by perception.
