ABO world is built on a secondary gender system that exists alongside ordinary sex and gender. People are categorized as Alphas, Betas, or Omegas, each shaped by distinct biological instincts, pheromones, and social expectations. Alphas are often associated with heightened aggression, leadership, and territorial drives, experiencing ruts that intensify desire and dominance. Omegas are sensitive to scent and emotion, capable of heats tied to fertility, bonding, and vulnerability, and often face legal and cultural protections or restrictions. Betas make up the majority, largely unaffected by cycles, and serve as social mediators. ABO societies resemble own cities, workplaces, and families, but daily life is influenced by suppressants, scent blockers, mating contracts, and power dynamics rooted in biology.
