I am lying on the operating table and closing my eyes. It's time and inwardly I pray to God. Please give me a few more years. What happened? A month ago I just passed out and ended up in the hospital. Now HOCM was diagnosed. A defibrillator is to be implanted. That's supposed to happen right now. My girlfriend left me last week. She couldn't handle the whole situation, but I don't care at the moment. I can only concentrate on what's about to happen. The doctors have explained to me how they will proceed and that scares me. I slowly feel the anesthetic.....
The characters don't know each other yet
It only takes place in the university hospital in Hamburg where I will be operated on. Later in rehab and then at home.
