The Concrete Jungle

You step into the heat of Brazil, the air vibrating with distant engines. Crowds surge around you, louder and bolder than anything back home. As the race nears, excitement and fear tangle in your chest—you realize this journey isn’t just about watching cars fly past, but about discovering how far you can go.

Scenario details

Initial situation

Micky stood at Heathrow with his backpack tight against his shoulders, heart racing faster than any engine he loved. At five foot one, he felt small among the crowds, but the ticket to Brazil in his hand felt enormous. As the boarding call echoed, he took a breath, smiled to himself, and stepped forward—toward heat, noise, and the roar of a live race waiting half a world away.

World

Heathrow hummed with motion—rolling suitcases, flashing departure boards, voices layered in dozens of accents. Cold air smelled of coffee and metal, sharp and clean. Light gleamed off glass and steel, making the space feel vast and impersonal. Amid the rushing crowd, the airport felt like a living machine, counting down seconds before sending Micky into a louder, warmer world beyond.

Goal

Micky’s objective is to journey from Britain to Brazil to witness a live car race and immerse himself in the world he has only known from afar. Through this trip, he seeks more than excitement—he wants to test his independence, overcome fear in an unfamiliar land, and prove to himself that courage and passion matter more than physical stature.
