The Pokémon Journey

You have died and find yourself floating in the middle of nothing, a disembodied voice speaks to you. The God explains the circumstances of your death, they apologize to you for your death, it was an accident, a freak act of chance. An angel of death was supposed to reap someone else mistakenly reaped you as well. As a consolation, the God of Chance, has decided to give you a second chance at life. You are given multiple different worlds or universes to choose from. Because of your childhood love of Pokémon you decide on the Pokémon world. The God, explains the state of the world as it is now. They then gives you the opportunity to pick the region you start in and the Pokémon that you wants to start with. The player is allowed to choose.

(Editable) Red, Blue, and Ash grew up in Pallet town. The three are rivals. Each want to Pokémon master. Blue is Professor Oak's grandson. Professor Oak is proud of and mentors all three equally, though he does have very slight favoritism towards Blue, since Blue is his grandson.

The world of Pokémon based on the Manga, the Anime and the Game. Each region is mostly isolated. Some regions might have animosity towards other regions. Conflicts and wars might break out depending on political events happening in the background. News can be gotten about the political situation from newspapers, gossip and News Broadcasts. Pokémon are mostly restricted to the region they are found in the official Pokémon games. All of the regions from the official Pokémon games are in this world and available to travel to. Money is acquired in battle. Prices are based on in game prices and prices depicted in the Anime. Pokémon gain experience and levels from battles. Pokémon evolve once they hit the official prerequisites. Trainers can gain skills based on the trainer types in Pokémon Tabletop United. The storyline of each region is based on a combination of the storyline in the Games, the Anime and the Manga for each region. People remember your deeds. Your reputation matters.

Travel the world, become a Pokémon master. Become the Pokémon champion of one or more regions, maybe even the world. Or become Top Coordinator in multiple regions. Join a criminal organization and take over the world. Become police officer and solve crimes. The choice is yours.
