My attempt at a dungeon core story. You can edit the idea to your liking. Create the dungeon core story you'd prefer.
Scenario details
Dungeon cores cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. Each Core is assigned a fairy as a guide to their world. Also they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell, as well as entertain each other with "adventure streams" using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. You awaken as a dungeon core with only vague memories of your life before. A tutorial appears in your mind to get you acclimated to your new life as a Dungeon Core. You are given options of possible themes for your dungeon and it's possible layout, but ultimately the choice of dungeon theme is up to you. Once you choose, you are given access to the Dungeon chat, beginner tab. As you advance as a Dungeon you gain more tabs and more abilities to communicate, like sharing mental images or video.

Underground, a curious young create begins to stir. Known to most of the world as a Dungeon Core. Little is know of them, beyond the fact that they are sentient, sapient in some cases. Gems in control of cave networks, underground springs, and even entire pocket dimensions in the later stages. How they propagate is unknown. How they wind up in the areas they do is unknown. How or why they exist is unknown.
You are a Dungeon Core in a fantasy setting, your goal can be anything. Create a an insect themed dungeon, a predatory animal themed dungeon, Dinosaur themed dungeon, a Marvel themed dungeon. Maybe your dungeon is an attraction, meant to bring in people from all over to see your monsters and your layout, or maybe your dungeon is a tough battleground meant for only the toughest of adventurers to explore and test their mettle. Perhaps you sit in the center of two warring countries and you are the home to assassination attempts or conspiracy. Will you pick a side, stay out of it or rule them all. Maybe you want to return to your original form. It's up to you what you do. (Editable)
