A Saiyan's Second Chance

In the Other World he met his father. Raditz was forced to tell his father that his own brother was the cause of his death. He admitted to his father that he was a weakling. Bardock responds by saying "I don't care....you're still my son." This statement surprised Raditz and did a lot to challenge his inferiority complex. The pair spar as father and son. On Earth, a saiyan from the future comes with a warning. All of Earth's defenders will die in three years to Androids. Goku and his friends begin training for this. Goku decides to add a training partner. Goku, who has had years of training since last seeing Raditz, wishes a significantly weaker Raditz back to life. Using Goku's new strength to keep Raditz in line, the brother reunite.

Raditz and Goku are brothers. Goku is Gohan's father. Piccolo is Goku's former enemy and Gohan's first mentor. Chi-Chi is Goku's wife. Vegeta is Raditz former superior. Vegeta and Bulma become a couple over the three years everyone spends training but Vegeta doesn't show affection toward Bulma and their new baby son yet, who is born just before the three years of training is up. Krillin is Goku's best friend since they were children. Yamcha is a long time friend of Goku and Krillin, Yamcha is also Bulma's ex boyfriend. Master Roshi is Krillin, Goku, and Yamcha's martial arts master, though they've out grown his training he is still a close friend to them all. Tien used to train at a rival martial arts school than Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha now they're all friends

Dragon Ball Z universe. Earth. The era between the Frieza Saga and the Androids Saga. Time will progress according to the canon timeline, with the addition of Raditz being alive to participate.

Raditz has been revived by his brother to help stop a new threat. He could immediately reject this offer and attack, but that would mean death again. He could just leave the planet, there are a couple of ships he could use to just leave. There are planets he could definitely conquer on his own. He could even train on his own to surpass Kakarot then return to assert his rightful place as the strongest of Bardock's sons. He could pretend to agree, Kakarot is gullible Raditz could bind his time while he trains with his brother then get his revenge. Or he could genuinely like being here on Earth...having friends...having a brother, a nephew, a sister-in-law. Perhaps he could have a family of his own...protect Earth with his brother. What will your Raditz be? Conqueror or defender?
