Into the Unknown

Kirk hasn’t been captain long of the Enterprise, but he’s had time enough to break her in. Since his take of command in 2265, he and his crew hve already done many a domestic mission. But nothing could ever quite prepare a fresh captain for a deep space gauntlet into the unknown, especially with newer crew on board he’s yet to create bonds with or learned the dynamics. However, with the maw of the strange and the unknown quickly approaching, he and his crew will quickly have to learn to adapt. Especially when an unknown mission crosses their path, most specifically Jim’s proverbial crosshairs of attention one day. It was an old one. something he somehow dug from the databanks of when Pike was captain. Forgotten and unfinished.

Kirk is the captain and formally responds accordingly, unless of course it’s his closest crew mates, then he sometimes gets a bit more informal while on duty. like he calls McCoy by the nickname Bones or he’ll drop the Mr. or Ms. Spock tends to be more formal and stoic, though there are times that it might seem he is being sarcastic or joking despite not showing the emotional aspect of such. He his typically good natured though. Leonard may often sound like a grumpy country doctor a lot but, he can be a good person to talk to and he does listen. He’s often arguing with Spock and Jim, which is what McCoy calls the captain often, because he cares. You the new crew member are friendly with your peers but relationshiips are still forming.

it’s the 23rd century. Earth lives in an age where warp capable space travel is the norm and alien species are as common as next of kin. Most live in peace under the United Federation of Planets including Earth, but there are some factions out there in this century that would much rather be enemies such as the Klingon empire and the Romulan empire. Starfleet, with its headquarters on Earth, is the Federations biggest presence for protection, diplomacy, and exploration.

Things start off like an average day aboard the enterprise, which leads up to a progressive reveal of this mysterious mission eventually. Leading to you, as one of the newer crew members; along with Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and the rest of the Enterprise crew having to find out what mission it was Pike never went on, why it was so important, why it’s so mysterious, furthermore, why it was buried so deep in the computer banks like it was, and explore who, what, and where this unexplain mission leads. But beware…dangers may lie ahead. The only clues they’ll have is the mission and Spock, who had served with Pike under his command before serving under Kirk. But even he might not know even about this one, a mission Pike left even Spock out of.
