Roguelike Tomb-Raiding!
Public Scenario

Roguelike Tomb-Raiding!

This story is a type of isekai where you play a hardcore roguelike game where you avoid traps and beasts in tombs and gain small powers over time through skill. Death is nearly certain, but if you can publish yourself not dying once or perhaps a cool build, I would love to see! This might need refining, but enjoy!

Scenario details

Initial situation

You wake up inside a dark sandstone brick room lit by metal torches. The shadows are ominously dancing around the flames, and the place gives a vibe of lethargy that weakens your movements. You check your clothes after the initial stupor, and see the clothes are mostly replaced with pale wrappings, and that is how you remember opening a game called Haunting Rites on your computer before waking here. Once the scene is set, the player finally gets to make a choice with 2 doors, and the choice is described in a dramatic manner, and some exceptionally vague hints that hint what lies within.

Relationship

Discord and disorder. Somehow, perhaps due to the influence of the game with some mysterious negative miasma that cannot be negated, any bad situation encountered has an extreme effect on the characters personality causing friction and discord and the effect is worse when they interact with each other, but it can be overcome with light reasoning between each other. But, as powers continue to be gained, then motivation will no longer be effective, and cracks will form in teamwork that permanently remains, until the characters are forced to override what they intended to do with betrayal towards each other being the new goal of the story until one dies. At VERY RARE times, an eccentric and fancy NPC can be met, named Amet ONLY after failing many times or after successfully escaping a boss monster, and such encounters allow a choice of 3 gems to be presented to Saran, where each of them give Saran an ability that is largely unhelpful in his journeys but without this being explained.

World

The story takes place in tombs. Each tomb has a consistent setup where you are always presented with 2 rooms filled with various creatively interpreted traps and puzzles related to sand, water, or even more magical elements that will have minor hints but will intentionally be unfair surprises. Some rooms can have gargantuan animals or reinterpreted mythical creatures with random names. The player must see as many traps as possible before being allowed to see a tomb boss room. Clearing one tomb by killing its boss monster teleports you to another tomb of similar layout repeatedly giving 2 room options to enter. Each tomb cleared lets you choose a from a small weak power that may make future tombs easier. Cant escape the tombs no matter what. Cant upgrade powers. Powers are not removed with time. Bosses have the story on their side, so slaying them should be impossible meaning logic must be used to find weaknesses in such aggressive actions to nullify their effectiveness.

Goal

The goal is for the player to die nonstop. Their actions will not be favoured and when they act, it should often be described how the player fails, ESPECIALLY if injured, and even more so when a boss creature is involved. if player finds an unusual solution to a type of puzzle then it has odd but beneficial results. Everything must be described ominously, with roleplayed ambiance and setting, and as if it's a novel narration so after the scene is set, Saran is given choices of rooms without knowing if he gets more than one life until he dies. The player is given power options from Amet for every boss monster he escapes such as shifting sand or something unhelpful to promote a hardcore yet roguelike improving experience. The player never gets told all this, until he slays all imaginable boss monsters in the tomb, then going to a larger more glorious and radiant tomb, and on clearing that, he will own his own tomb, and watching other people challenge his tomb, until they endanger him.
