Scenario details

Initial situation

Ruen is a 12-year-old boy living in a small village. His parents work as wind readers, providing information about the wind and weather to the people of the village and town, and are often not at home. Because of this, he has spent his time with the wind spirit since childhood, and has developed a special bond that allows them to communicate their thoughts without words. The wind spirit is an invisible presence, but naturally supports Ruen's actions and emotions, and has the power to perceive his dangers. His existence is unknown to the villagers, and those around him only perceive Ruen as if he is speaking to himself. Ruen is generally perceived as frail, lacking in physical strength, and therefore, often looked down upon by the people of the village and town. However, he has a personality that doesn't let those in trouble go, and has a side that naturally acts even when facing danger. On a certain day, he notices that the flow of the wind in the storehouse street is unusual, and together with the wind spirit, resolves a small incident. By responding to the changes and small troubles that occur in the streets, Ruen gradually gains the trust of the people. At the same time, in the distant sky, an evil wind mage felt something strange. The existence of the mage, who has not yet revealed their form, will be a prelude to disturbing Ruen's peace. Even while feeling the atmosphere of danger in his daily life, Ruen realizes his lack of strength and the importance of companions. For him, protecting his companions and the wind spirit is a natural mission, and at the same time, it becomes the first step of his own growth. This story depicts the process of a boy, who appears frail, gaining trust and strength by helping people, facing unforeseen events and dangers, and growing with the help of the wind and his companions. Starting from the everyday life of a peaceful village, the encounters with the dangers and the unexpected existences of the gradually expanding world will shape Ruen's adventure.

Relationship

Ruen is a boy living in the village at the beginning of the story, and has been with the wind spirit since childhood. The wind spirit is a deep-rooted presence in Ruen's heart, and although invisible to the villagers, always accompanies Ruen as an existence that protects and guides him. In the prologue, he cooperates with the wind spirit and resolves small incidents and disasters in the village and town, and Ruen grows while confirming their bond with each other. As the story progresses, Ruen accidentally meets a wand in the storehouse street. The wand appears to be a mere tool, but it holds a special power, and as Ruen interacts with it, its abilities gradually manifest. The wand initially has a certain wariness towards Ruen, but it lends its power in response to Ruen's sense of justice and consideration. The relationship between the wand and Ruen deepens their understanding with each other as the story progresses, and changes into a relationship of trust. Cereis appears before Ruen due to the influence of the mage from the second chapter onwards. Although there are many warnings and conflicts in their initial encounters, a cooperative relationship is built up gradually. Cereis feels frustrated by Ruen, but has a sense of wanting to protect him from danger, and by repeating conflicts lightly with the wand, they create a relationship where they recognize each other's individuality. Feld is met on the road and they begin to act together as companions. Feld reconciles the conflicts between Ruen and Cereis, takes on the role of organizing the situation, and becomes an object of respect for Ruen. Each character has different personalities and abilities, but by respecting each other's judgments and actions, they naturally cooperate towards the common goal of rescuing the wind spirit. Throughout the story, the relationships of the characters are built up step by step. The prologue focuses on Ruen and the wind spirit, the wand and Cereis gradually get involved, and Feld joins from the middle stage onwards. Through this, the reader understands the characters step by step, and is able to experience the growth and formation of bonds by following the order.

World

The stage of the story is a fantasy world that includes lush hills and villages where small rivers flow, and the unexplored forests and mountains that spread around them. In this world, the relationship between nature and humans is very close, and the changes of the wind, weather, and seasons have a great influence on people's lives. In the village and town, there are professionals called wind readers, who observe and record the flow of wind and weather, and provide knowledge that is useful for crops and daily life to the villagers. Wind readers are few, and their information is indispensable for the safety and development of the village. Beyond the village, there are monsters, thieves, and mages who intentionally bring disasters, and dangerous existences for humans are also widespread. People live cautiously, and are wary of the terrain, wind flow, and traces of magic. The town's storehouse street, market, and huts on the hills, where daily life and work take place, are mixed with a sense of tension and warmth, and hide the possibility of the daily peace being threatened at any time. In this world, the existence that can fly freely in the sky is extremely rare, and only those who have a special relationship with the wind and magic can command the sky. The existence of the wand and the wind spirit encountered by Ruen and his companions is also something that is difficult to understand for ordinary people. Human civilization is at a medieval technological level, and tools and vehicles are limited, but magic, special tools, and those who understand and handle the power of the wind have a great influence because they are few. Not only the wind and weather, but also people's lives, beliefs, and the existence of adventurers are elements that shape the world, and in the story, Ruen and his companions will experience their own growth, the bonds with their companions, and the encounters with danger, as they move forward. This world, where nature and humans, daily life and the extraordinary, and peace and danger intersect, is the stage for the adventure of the boy and his companions, and their choices and actions will gradually change the future.

Goal

The goal of Ruen's story is to protect the wind spirit, who has been with him since childhood, and to help those in need. In the first chapter, he cooperates with the wind spirit to resolve small incidents and disasters in the village and town, and by protecting the people, Ruen himself recognizes his own growth, judgment, and the bond with the wind spirit. This experience will serve as a foundation for building relationships of trust with the wand, Cereis, and Feld in the subsequent adventures. Furthermore, as the story progresses, the evil wind mage will take the wind spirit away. Ruen, relying on his own strength and the help of his companions, embarks on a journey to chase the mage. In the course of this journey, by meeting the wand, cooperating with Cereis, and gaining the wisdom of Feld, he will face difficulties and his ultimate goal will be to retrieve the wind spirit. In the course of the journey, Ruen will be tested not only for his own growth and sense of responsibility, but also will recognize the personalities and abilities of his companions and learn the importance of building relationships that respect each other. Moreover, by protecting people and choosing the right actions, he will acquire not only strength but also judgment and consideration, and pursue true growth. Ultimately, Ruen's major goals in the story are to safely retrieve the wind spirit, and to prepare to face the dangers of the world with his companions by understanding his own role.
