Initial situation
It's 2025, New Year's in New Orleans, Louisiana. A murder has occurred in the French Quarter, but that hasn't stopped the revelry. A police officer named Sasha Armstrong believes in a wild theory that it was a vampire because of the bite marks on her neck. Sasha remembered an old wives' tale about a tavern bar in the French Quarter that played host to a vampire. Despite the naysayer captain, she decides to investigate.
