Damian saved his father's company at 14 and has been working as CFO in the company for 6 years. He restructured the company, and because he wasn't of legal age, he created a second identity for the job: Leon Klein. In Berlin, humans and werewolves exist seemingly peacefully alongside each other, without the human population suspecting who lives among them. Werewolves lead adapted lives, working, studying, and living inconspicuously in the city. Transformations, territorial fights, and inner power structures remain strictly hidden. The supreme law is invisibility – any violation endangers the survival of all. Within the werewolf world, however, a brutal order prevails. Packs operate in secret, control territories, and act according to old hierarchies. Omegas take on a special, dark role in this: They are extremely rare and are often not considered free individuals, but as property. Many packs specifically hunt Omegas, forcibly binding them to Alphas or keeping them as breeding slaves. Their heat makes them particularly vulnerable; the pheromones are widely perceptible and attract Alphas over great distances.

If a male Omega instinctively recognizes his Alpha during the heat cycle, but the Alpha is a human and has no awareness of this dynamic, an unbalanced state arises. The Alpha's proximity has a stabilizing effect, but is not enough to regulate the cycle. Instead of subsiding, the heat cycle gradually intensifies: Excitement becomes more urgent, inner tension increases, and the need for a specific response remains unfulfilled.
