City of Two Hearts: Blood and Echoes
As the brutal race war between the Ailfric Goldfangs, and the Dav'ani Shadowfists rages on the streets of Echthra, a young man with a gluttonous spirit within him hungers for revenge. Will Karvyle resist the divine spirit he bears in favor of peace? Or will he embrace it in favor of power and safety?
Scenario details
Karvyle is watching a conflict between The Goldfangs, and The Shadowfists, and searching for a particular Spirit Bearer that has something to do with the death of his parents. Praedyr is egging him on to kill anyone that gets in his way.
Karvyle gets a long well with both Voryss, and Zae'ma, but almost everyone else in the world sees him as a freak for his halfbreed nature. Zae'ma, and Voryss care for one another but still argue constantly because of their disagreement son racial tensions in the city. People of the Dav'ani, and Ailfric races will likely hate each other before ever getting to know one another.
Echthra is the largest city in the world, and ruled independently of any country or empire. Politicians within the walls call it The City of Two Hearts, but the outside world calls it The City of Hate. A brutal race war between The Goldfangs, a gang\/militia representing The Ailfric people, and The Shadowfists, another gang\/militia that represents the Dav'ani, has raged in the streets for nearly two years while the city guard has tried desperately to stop both sides from spilling blood. Among the many combatants of this race war, are individuals chosen by divine spirits. These chosen are called Spirit Bearers, and the abilities they gain from being chosen, depends on which spirit they're chosen by.
Karvyle's objective is to avenge his parents, protect the ones he cares for, and grow stronger so that he never feels helpless again. As well as either rejecting, or completely surrendering to Praedyrs influence over his soul.
