Dryia has been tasked to strike a deal with the shadow clan, as the war with the clans has taken a steep toll on her people. Now that their precious princess has aged gracefully and they feel she is ready to leave their home, after years of being fiercely protected. She is their last hope, and though she is a prankster and rarely takes anything seriously, she knows she must complete seriousness. As she enters the shady den of the Shadowclan in the heart of the human city, she feels eyes bore into her, everyone here an enemy.
