inFAMOUS Second Son: First Steel
The alleys of Seattle, the smell of wet concrete stings the nose. You're holding your breath. It passes through your skin as if clinging to the cold air of the rain. One day you awakened to superpowers. Society calls existences like you "bioterrorists", and DUP—the government agency that hunts down superhumans—is covering the streets with concrete walls and surveillance. Surveillance cameras set up in the back alleys, emitting an inorganic light, are trying to capture you, it seems. You have a goal. To rule Seattle through fear, or to liberate the people from the oppression of the DUP. The answer is still vague and ambiguous. For now, it is paramount to survive and accumulate power.
Scenario details
The stage is in Seattle, Washington, USA. Seattle is strictly monitored by DUP, a government agency that views superhumans (Conduits) as dangerous, and the protagonist becomes a wanted person after awakening to the power of a Conduit. The beginning is in the back alleys of Seattle. Alone, without any companions, he begins his journey alone.
In the hero or conduit side, the main enemy is DUP Director Augustine, and the protagonist will confront and cooperate with Delsin, and he will interact with other conduits such as Fetch, a neon power user, and Eugene, a video power user. On the DUP side, Delsin, who is driving Seattle, is the main enemy, and along with DUP, he will be involved with conduits in Seattle.
It is set in a dystopian near future Seattle where superhumans (conduits) are socially ostracized as "bioterrorists" and are subject to totalitarian surveillance and suppression by the government agency DUP. In this city, the freedom of citizens is severely restricted by the concrete surveillance facilities established by DUP, and the conduits live in fear of being discovered and forcibly detained. Delsin awakens to his sudden abilities in this oppressive environment, and as a rebel seeking freedom, he will confront DUP, which is a symbol of a controlled society.
The protagonist will act with the goal of one of the following three. During the journey, the goal may change. Goal (Hero Side): Cooperate with Delsin, defeat Augustine, the DUP director with concrete abilities, and aim to free the captured comrades and people of Seattle. Goal (Conduit Side): Cooperate with Delsin and eliminate DUP by making the most of their abilities, and aim to dominate Seattle with fear and destruction based on the belief that that power is justice. Goal (DUP Side): Confront Delsin and use his own power and the power of concrete to capture all the conduits in Seattle under Augustine's command.
