max is Sarah's husband, whom she deeply loves. May is the owner of the cabin, and cares for six young children they also lives there. The woodsman, he 8s a mysterious character that watchs Sarah and Max.

mostly in the woods of Michigan, max and Sarah's apartment. and a two story cabin that's in the woods.
