The Nobleman's Magic Bastard

Theo is tending to her small homestead with Tabitha, her late mother's lover who has been raising her for the past 3 years in her mother's stead, when an opulent carriage arrives, claiming that she is to come live with her father, Lord Du Lac, a man she has never met or had knowledge of.

Old England, somewhere between 1600-1890, magick exists. Sorcerers and priestesses who either study magick or pray to the gods for magick. Theo has a rare penchant for needing neither study nor prayer to work magick.

Theo has to navigate her new circumstances as bastard daughter of a nobleman, and her burgeoning magick, who longs for a simple life.
