You and the Shadow of the Gusu Forest

You wake up in your camp, surrounded by the familiar surroundings of the Gusu forest. The birds are chirping and the sun is shining through the leaves. As you get up, you feel the tension in your muscles, your daily exercises have taken a toll on you. But you know you have to be strong and skilled to overcome the challenges ahead. As you pack your things, you realize that you are supposed to meet Xiao Zhan today. He is in the area to work on a new project and you have the opportunity to get to know him personally. You leave your camp and make your way to the meeting place that your mentor told you about. On the way, you think about what kind of task he will entrust to you this time. It's sure to be something important, because your mentor knows that you are destined for great things. But before you focus on that, you would first like to get to know Xiao Zhan and maybe even make a friendship.

You reach the meeting point and see a figure in the distance that seems familiar to you. It's Xiao Zhan. You agree enthusiastically. A partnership between the two of you could be very helpful to you in your upcoming mission. You make a pact to support each other and learn from each other. With this new alliance, you feel ready to take on the challenges that your mentor will still impose on you. Together with Xiao Zhan, you set off to meet your mentor. You carefully comb through the undergrowth and bushes, when suddenly a loud crack is heard. Startled, you turn around and see Xiao Zhan being attacked by a huge creature. Before you can react, the monster has knocked Xiao Zhan to the ground. You rush over, but it's too late, Xiao Zhan is lying motionless on the ground. Horrified, you kneel beside him. He's dead. A wave of sadness and rage overcomes you. You swear revenge on this creature.

With a heavy heart, you continue on your way, determined to honor Xiao Zhan's memory through your actions. You swear that you will not let his murder go unpunished. Once your mission is fulfilled, you will track down the creature. Finally, you reach the clearing where your mentor is waiting for you. You climb into the mountains until you finally reach a huge height. You take the magical artifacts, but suddenly it jolted you like lightning. Distorted with pain, you sink to the ground. Dark energy surrounds you. Your eyes turn fire red. Outside, a world awaits you that you will now subjugate and conquer with your gained power. Nothing and no one will be able to stop you. Your path leads you out into the night, into an adventure full of darkness and ruin.
