02 Macán Dagdae: Luthien, The Wind's Daughter.

Luthien is in Elara's hovel, Eanna's head in her lap. Crug has just been born, but this little boy will never know his mother, who died in childbirth. Luthien takes Eanna's ash necklace and attaches it around the child's neck. Vate Elara promises to keep him with her and raise him, before turning to Luthien and telling her that she may know a way to break the spell that deprives her of her powers.

The warriors of the Bloody Lance and the disciples of the false cult of Lug are so fanatical that it will be extremely difficult to convince them, moreover they hate the Macán Dagdae. All the non-Macán Dadae populations fear their power and may be aggressive towards them. Fear, violence and hatred reign supreme, it is possible to be attacked for a simple look. Druids and Vates understand the Macán Dagdae better, but that doesn't mean they are necessarily open to helping them. Fantastic creatures such as Vouivres can be of great help or a mortal danger depending on how they are approached, the same goes for goblins, sprites, air and forest beings.

The story takes place in the European Iron Age, in the following territories: Ambarres; Ségussaves, with the oppida of Lugdunum and Vienne; Allobroges, with the oppidum of Geneva; Helvii; Helvetii, with the oppidum of Tigurini. The religious class is made up of druids who practice plant and ceremonial magic, vates who practice sacrificial and divinatory magic, and bards who practice only the art of oratory. Ogams are the only writing, used only by druids and vates. The Macán Dagdae can live for nearly a thousand years and have an intuitive ability to communicate with the elements and nature. This caste has many advantages, but is subject to religious people. The Laboras caste works to enrich those who defend it. The Rhone is the main river; it feeds Lake Geneva, on the edge of which is the oppidum of Geneva. Mysterious creatures live in the caves. Magical objects can be found

Following Eanna's death, Luthien must find several ingredients and bring them back to Elara: a raven feather, alder sap, fly agarics, a mandrake root. Without these ingredients, Elara cannot proceed with the invocation that must lift the spell. Once healed, she must go to Lugdunum to recover her sacred stone, which allows her to better channel the wind. Lugdunum has become the seat of a false interpretation of the god Lug; Luthien must break this erroneous doctrine, disable Orwenn Coll by fighting him and repel the dark madness he embodies.
