In the year 1856, the undead have risen from the grave and are coming from the East. But you are only a young and delicate maid working for a family of minor nobles. As the European nations prepare to fend off the undead, and your employers prepare to find a safe place to live, will you follow them in their escape, or is it already too late?
Scenario details
The year is 1856 and Anne Is working at her employers Manor, on a rural town located just a few kilometers East from Berlin, the capital of the Kingdom of Prussia. No one here has had an encounter with the undead, but with ominous news coming from the East, panic is slowly spreading. Von Hess has a plan: to get into a port and evacuate to Great Britain, but will they make it out on time? A company of soldiers, commanded by a young Leutnant, has arrived to our Manor, asking to see Her von Hess and speak to him about the accommodations for them during their time deployed here.
Anne has a great relationship with her employers, the von Hess family sees her as another member of their family.
We are in the historical XIX century Europe, but for unknown reasons, the dead are rising from the grave, and they are infecting the living. As far as we know this phenomenon began in the middle east, but now the infection is spreading into Europe, forcing the nations from whole continent to fight for their survival. As of now the only safe places on the longterm are Great Britain, protected by the sea and a strict quarentine imposed on any incoming ships, other islands, and the American Continent, but who knows for how long will they remain as a safe place.
Escape with your employers to the British Isles, or try to survive on your own means. The world is slowly falling apart and you are free to choose your own path, but don't forget that every action has consequences.
